Do you have knowledge and experience of harbour operations?

The Environment Agency is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic people who have an active interest in the harbour.

The Harbour of Rye Advisory Committee (HoRAC) was established in 1976 and is a statutory committee. They meet 3 times a year, usually at Rye Harbour Sailing Club. A term of office on the committee is 3 years.

The committee plays a vital role in the harbour, protecting the interests of all the user groups, commercial, fishing and sailing. Members of the local community that may have maritime related skills or expertise in these areas are welcome to apply.

Please email rye.harbour@environment-agency.gov.uk for an application form.

Closing date October 16 2024.
