Got a glut?

If you've too much produce in your patch, donate it to the fruit and veg show on August 30

Got a glut?
Fruit and veg on show

Masses of marrows? Tons of tomatoes? Apples by the armful? Countless courgettes?

Our glut stall at the Rye Flower and Veg Show on August 30 at the Rye Community Centre will be open from 8:30am to 11:30am to deposit any fruit, flowers or veg that you have spare.

All donated produce will then be available to the public from 2pm when the show opens. Donations towards next year’s show will be gratefully accepted.

Hopefully everything will go to a good home and there should be less wastage and more opportunities for everyone to taste Rye’s best home-grown food.
