By Tony McLaughlin The Budgens store on Station Approach in Rye is now fully owned by local grocers Jempson's. The company says that having 100% ownership of the Rye supermarket will allow it to buy big brand items from the competitively priced National Independent Supermarket Association (NISA) resulting in "better prices, better service, better ranges". Shoppers will now be able to use Jempson's Savaclub loyalty card at the Rye shop. Jempson's Rye is open between 7 am and 10 pm Monday to Saturday, but closed on Sunday.
