Despite Rye College going through a difficult time with many changes, said a spokesperson, students' hard work has resulted in its best ever results in the GCSEs announced this week.
Excellent results were also achieved in the Studio School's creative and performing arts subjects with nearly every student securing their desired college destination.
Earlier this year Rye News spoke to Rye Academy Trust's Chief Executive Officer Tim Hulme about the challenges and changes.
Despite the new grading system in some GCSE subjects, standard pass rates improved on last year and some students achieved excellent individual results.
A spokesperson said the results were a credit to the staff and students for all their hard work as the college continues to make progress.
