Festive beach clean up

Over 40 volunteers turned up at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve to help us clean our beach in glorious sunshine, writes Linda Wren. Half a trailer load of mostly plastic was collected. It must now be the cleanest beach in Sussex. Volunteers were rewarded with a well-deserved hot cup of soup afterwards.
