The Farmers’ Market is back in business after the winter break, writes Kenneth Bird. Business got off to a good start last week on Strand Quay, helped by visitors here for the Scallop Festival. Conditions this week (March 2) were blustery, but did not deter those getting back into the swing of Wednesday morning marketing.
Jasper Botterill on the fish stall expects a slow build up towards Easter, when the plant and vegetable stalls return. “We need to let everyone know we’re back” he said.
