According to the Rye Neighbourhood Plan "sequential and exception flood risk report tests" report in 2018, there were up to 1,000 dwellings and businesses in Rye's flood zones 2 and 3. Coupled with the reality of global climate change, this puts much of our community at risk for flooding.
