Encompass Care celebrated its six month birthday last Thursday November 8, and announced that they have now raised enough funds to buy their second hand minibus.
Gina Williams presented Encompass Care with a cheque for £100 in memory of a dear friend who passed away recently.
The Chairman of East Sussex County Council, Cllr Peter Pragnell congratulated Irna Mortlock, Susan Millard and their team of volunteers for the work that they have done in the past six months. The support has been incredible, particularly from the Mermaid Inn, Rye Community Shop, Andy McConnell, Rye Bonfire and other local individuals.
Encompass Care is open every Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm, and as soon as they source their bus, they will be organising trips out for their clients which will give their partners and carers more much needed respite.
