Last month there was a candlelight gathering in East Guldeford church, which was a combined harvest supper provided by the ladies of the village and a celebration of Guy Fawkes’ night with a small firework display, and fifty villagers and friends enjoyed music by local folk group Terry Hulf and friends.
On Sunday December 17 at 2:30pm Rye Singers have their annual carol service in St Mary’s church at East Guldeford and on Christmas Eve at 4:30pm there is a carols and nativity service by candlelight in St Mary’s followed by festive drinks and mince pies.
