National Dementia Awareness week will run from May 15 to 21. There will be celebrations and events up and down the country including one in our own back yard.
Rye and District Dementia Action Alliance will be celebrating its first year since launch with an event at the Tilling Green Community Centre on Friday May 20, 2-4pm. There will be information stands, a chance to network, learn how you can become a dementia friend plus musical performance by the Sunset Singers.

The Rye and District Dementia Action Alliance was recently awarded £500 by the police for the publication of publicity materials to raise awareness of dementia.
