The trustees of Rye & District Community Transport have called an AGM to be held on September 6. All present members numbering some two dozen voluntary organisations have been invited, but this will be an opportunity also for the charity to present its activities to the wider local community, leading to a better understanding of this vital community asset.
Anyone interested in helping to promote our community bus service in any way is welcome to attend. Following the usual business of an AGM, there will be an open forum when information can be exchanged and future plans discussed.
Date and venue: Thursday September 6 at 6:30pm at St Mary’s Centre, Lion Street.
