A chance to have a go at sailing - for free on Sunday June 23!

take to the water

Rye Harbour Sailing Club is inviting locals to have a go at sailing with a special event on Sunday June 23. Come and join us for a couple of hours.

It's a great opportunity to gain some sea-sailing experience with experienced skippers including Sophie O'Neill. Check her out on the web, she's wonderful. You will be able to crew and those that want to, will be able to take the helm.

Don't worry if you haven't sailed before as this experience is aimed at local residents of all ages, who would like to discover what sailing has to offer. There will always be a skipper in the boat to give tips and tricks. And there will also be a BBQ after. Best of all, it’s all free!

We have all the equipment needed but if you have a wetsuit, do bring it. Email our Vice Commodore, Martin Newman, at martinnewman58@gmail.com for more details and to let him know that you're coming as spaces are limited.

Please be at the club by 12:30 as we'll be launching shortly after.
