On Wednesday February 22, Rye, Winchelsea and District Hospital Ltd were thrilled to receive a donation of £500 from The Cock Inn at Peasmarsh. The money was raised through a Race Night and raffle held in the pub.
Raffle prizes were kindly donated by many local businesses including the Kings Head, the Horse & Cart, River Haven, Martyn Channon and Herringtons. Bob Dixon, pictured here with Amanda Bryan and Che Turedi from the Cock Inn, came to the hospital to hand over the £500 donation to hospital volunteer Hilary Edwards. The money is donated to the Friends of the Hospital for the enhancement of patient care.
