Rye Kino hosted a performance by Bulgarian cellist, Michael Petrov on June 24, writes Ray Prewer. He played Bach’s cello suite No 4 and Dutilleux’s Trois Strophes sur le nom de Sacher. This acted as a preview to the concert by the London Mozart Players which will take place at St. Mary’s, Rye at 8pm on Friday June 26. They will be playing pieces by Watkins, Schumann, Dvorak and Beethoven. There are still some tickets available in the 3 (cheapest) price range, ranges 1 and 2 are sold out.
