Celebrity chef, author and television presenter Rachel Allen recently hosted two cookery demonstrations with a book signing at family-owned, independent supermarket Jempson’s Peasmarsh Superstore.
The event was a resounding success, seeing the chef cooking three recipes and signing copies of her latest book ‘Home Baking’.
Stephen Jempson said: "It was a genuine pleasure to welcome Rachel to the store – we hope that our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening, it certainly looked as though they did. We would like to thank them for coming as well as our sponsors, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Cono Sur Wine, McDougalls Flour and Lurpak butter for their support," he continued. "We are already working on next year’s Meet the Expert event – we look forward to announcing it soon!"
