Christmas is a time for carol singing - and there are two opportunities this coming Saturday, December 7, with Rye Christmas carolling in the Baptist Church in Cinque Ports Street at 11am for early birds and the Christmas in Rye Carol Concert in St Mary's church at the top of the Lion Street hill behind the Town Hall at 5:30pm.
Hopefully for those who want a traditional Christmas the snow machines will be back in action after the second service, which looks delightful among our historic buildings and street lights - though you may feel you've had too much Christmas by the end of Saturday.
However you can stretch it out as some events now take place on Sunday as well as Saturday.
