On Tuesday May 3, year 13 students from Rye Studio School hosted their Campfire album launch at the old brewery (also known as the Yard.) at 6pm. However guests didn't arrive till 6:30 before being greeted by some music from the cd and live versions. Mostly the audience where families, friends and teachers but in any case, the event was quite successful and by 6:50 all 25 CDs that were printed for the event sold out. The students however, did receive a few prepaid orders on the night. They are hopeful to have raised a sufficient amount of money for their charities; The Oliver curd trust and St. Michaels Hospice. Over all the atmosphere was vibrant and the audience were engaged in the music and enjoying themselves. By 7:50 the guests began to leave, it was a early finish but it was a great evening.
