Camber claims another victim

In just seven days another road accident has happened in Camber. No motorcyclist this time but, at 3.20pm on Thursday (14 April) a red Nissan Juke travelling west along New Lydd Road, Camber, near Rye, collided with a red Skoda Citigo and flipped over onto a white Ford Fiesta, both of which had been parked on the Nissan's  nearside.  The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Charing, Kent, and the only occupant, sustained bruising and was taken by ambulance to the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards-on-Sea, where she was detained for observation.

The road was closed for two hours while the emergency services were at the scene.
