This year St Mary’s Church are again offering to recycle used Christmas cards. "Don't just throw them away, but bring them into the church and hand them in to the shop", says Anne Wood, church warden.
"Our small team are willing to sort them, but any new volunteers would be welcome". Once they are guillotined and pasted on new card, they make a very attractive alternative to purchasing cards at the usual retail price.
