A man has been charged after a break-in at The Black Sheep shop, 72 The Mint, writes Kenneth Bird. The shop window was smashed and several figurines and small china items were stolen.

Mark Page, 52, unemployed, of Mount Pleasant Road, Hastings has been charged in connection with the burglary on October 6 and arson with intent also on October 6 at The Collector's Corner in Market Road, Rye. He appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Saturday October 7.
