This Sunday afternoon, April 28 you are invited to join the bowls club members on the green, at the Salts (just below the Lookout and on Fishmarket Road A259), for a free afternoon trying your hand at bowls.
Members will be there to show you the ropes and provide equipment. All that you need to do is turn up from 2pm and wear flat shoes.
Your bowls club is under threat from the withdrawal of funds by Rother District Council, and unless we increase membership and support this facility it could be lost at the end of this season.
If you just want a fun afternoon, the place to be on Sunday afternoon is on the Salts. If you can’t make this date, just give us a call on 01797 280457 or 07855 876629, and join us for one of our three "roll-ups" each week. We are even arranging a session in the evenings.
