At Iden Village Fete on Saturday, July 28, Encompass Care held its first fundraiser and raised £284.12. All members, staff and volunteers were there to help and enjoyed a great day out.
Their next fundraiser will be at the Tilling Green Community Centre Fete on Saturday September 8, where it will not only be having a stall, but will be running its own pop-up cafe to offer, teas, coffees, home made cake, burgers, sandwiches and more.
The funds raised are going towards buying a minibus so that members can be brought in from a wider area and also go out further afield on outings.
