On Saturday, June 9 Iden Village Hall celebrated the Queen's official birthday with an afternoon of cream teas, writes Teresa Cooper. The hall was filled with the sound of laughter, chatter and the chinking of tea cups. This well attended event raised £395 for the village hall and people came from far and wide to enjoy the afternoon, with the traditional cream teas and also a selection of beautiful cakes.
