Come along to the next Recycle Swap Shop on Saturday March 21 at the Tilling Green Centre, Mason Road, Rye. Opening hours are 9:30am-noon, but items being given away must be there by 11am. Bring along stuff you don't need any more and take away stuff other people have brought. There's no charge for this, though donations to the cost of running the event are welcome. Remember, you do not need to bring stuff; we’re very happy for people to come and just take stuff away – in fact, we need people to do this, or there’s too much left over at the end. Please don't bring anything that's dirty, broken, dangerous or illegal, and no mains electrical items please.
RX Energy will also be at the swap shop. In November last year they gave advice to a number of people who wanted help with different issues relating to their energy bills. If you have any questions about your fuel bills, need advice on changing energy providers, information on the various grants and benefits for which you might eligible, or want help accessing and understanding comparison websites, come along and have a chat with them. They also have some useful energy-saving information to help cut your bills. It really helps them to give you the best information if you bring a recent fuel bill with you.
