Regrettably, the Rye International Jazz & Blues festival (including Gabrielle, above) due to take place over the August bank holiday weekend has been cancelled. This would have been the 9th festival but for those who have already purchased tickets for the headline concerts these are valid for the rescheduled performances which will form part of the 10th anniversary festival next year in 2021.
The Rye Arts Festival has also been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I have no doubt that both festivals will once more gather momentum as the work continues behind the scenes in order to offer us all two thrilling programmes of events to look forward to in 2021.
