Thieves failed in their bid to steal from an ATM cashpoint at Jempson's superstore, in the early hours of Monday, October 8.
Apart from damage being wrought, Stephen Jempson, store proprietor, was able to report that no money was stolen.
The image of two people, possibly a man and a youth, was captured on CCTV cameras as they planned their attack, and the police are now investigating.
