There are lots of super talented artists and crafters, in and around Rye. We felt the need was there, to create a regular space to sell and showcase their work.
Our first Rye Arts and Crafts Fair, will be on Saturday, April 1 from 10am to 4pm at Rye Community Centre.
The response for a stall has been amazing, indeed all tables were taken within a week. Should footfall on the day be good, we will organise a further two this year in late July and early December.
We have a fabulous mix of media, from illustrators to writers, stained glass to ceramics, woodwork to knitting. Something for everyone I’m sure!
On the day, Arabella from A Rye Good Time, will be there, explaining her town app and doing live interviews with our lovely stall holders. Also, James from RyeCast will pop in for a chat.
Adding to the already fruitful day, is the knowledge that needed funds are being raised for our community centre.
