Our belated congratulations to Anthony Marwood in being given an MBE in the Queen’s 2018 New Year Honours List, writes Kenneth Bird. Anthony Marwood is a solo classical violinist with a worldwide reputation. He lives in Peasmarsh when not touring internationally and co-founded the Peasmarsh Chamber Music Festival with Richard Lester cello and Susan Tomes piano, as the Florestan trio. Now he and Richard are planning the programme for 2018 Festival which takes place on June 21-24.
