Fiona Graham-Mackay is one of just 50 painters selected from more than 8o countries for 2016 BR National Portrait Gallery Summer Exhibition. You may have heard Fiona on Radio 4’s A Portrait of..... , a recording of conversations during the painting of a portrait of former Poet Laureate, Andrew Motion.
Fiona has since completed two more portraits for this radio series – of Imtiaz Dharker and Lemn Sissay – which were broadcast last year.
She has also become a regular star in national newspaper articles, especially in The Times and Daily Telegraph, and in arts magazines that feature her work.
She will be at Rye Art Gallery on Wednesday September 20, from 6 to 8pm
