Nationally famed as a glass specialist on BBC TV’s Antiques Roadshow, Andy McConnell, who also has a shop in Rope Walk will be giving three lectures at the Rye Creative Centre theatre on Saturday September 23.

Andy employs his distinctively light, humorous and spontaneous approach to guide participants through the three Ages of Glass spanning the last 5000 years, with intervals for refreshments between each talk.

Guests are actively encouraged to bring their own pieces along for discussion, and can also see and handle examples from Andy’s 30,000 piece collection, passed around at relevant points.

This is a special fund-raising event (10am-4pm) for ARRCC, the Arts Health and Wellbeing charity of which Andy McConnell is patron.

£20 tickets include tea, coffee and a buffet lunch and are available from irnamortlock@arrcc.org or telephone ARRCC 01797 229368
